Charging solutions from SMATRICS for STOP SHOP Retail Parks
As part of its net-zero emissions strategy, IMMOFINANZ is committed to significantly promoting the use of renewable energies and supporting the transition to electric mobility to reduce CO2 emissions.
Together with its partners AMIC Energy and VERBUND subsidiary SMATRICS, the charging service will be further expanded to enable CO2-free charging at IMMOFINANZ Retail Park STOP SHOP locations in Austria.
E-mobility as a location factor for retail
"The expansion of e-mobility is a huge opportunity for retailers," says Ronald Lausch, CSO at SMATRICS. "The advantages are obvious: retail companies remain fit for the future, increase the attractiveness of their locations and at the same time are local suppliers of electric mobility."
IMMOFINANZ has set itself the goal of expanding the range of e-charging stations at STOP SHOP locations. With its pioneering fast charging stations, AMIC Energy offers easy access to environmentally friendly electricity and is therefore the ideal partner to make a valuable contribution to emission-free transportation.
SMATRICS, a subsidiary of VERBUND, offers easy handling: electricity can be charged using a charging card, an app or a QR code via credit card.
AMIC Energy is an Austrian investment company and, as a European mobility service provider, has set itself the goal of providing the best electric mobility offering in various markets and thus promoting a clean and sustainable future. AMIC Energy currently offers 35 EV fast charging stations in Austria and Poland and is constantly evaluating additional locations in the focus countries.
Fast and convenient charging while shopping
The high technical performance of the fast charging stations is reflected in their speed. Depending on the power of the electric car, for example, the battery can be charged up to 80 percent within 30 minutes. This guarantees the best possible charging speed while shopping.
E-charging stations can currently be used at the STOP SHOP locations in Vienna Simmering, Vienna Stadlau and Tulln-Langenrohr. The Stockerau location recently went into operation with a 300kW charger, and the expansion of the offer is in full swing at the other 13 STOP SHOPs in Austria.
